Francophone Writing Residence
IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE SACD, THE CNC, THE CITY OF LA ROCHELLE AND THE RÉGION NOUVELLE-AQUITAINE
Created in 2018, the Francophone Writing Residence aims to accompany scriptwriters of audiovisual works in their creative process.
The Festival team provides its know-how, expertise and connections with all the professionals it welcomes during each edition of the Festival.
The Francophone Writing Residence is held in La Rochelle with 4 sessions per year. Since its creation, more than 80 authors have benefited from this residency. Each session is punctuated by professional meetings, exchange and mediation time, in order to give their project an even better chance.
The aim is to offer authors a place to work, exchange and concentrate, a warm and friendly place, a place dedicated to creation that will allow them to develop or finalize their work.
The authors invited to the residency come from the SACD writing funds and grants, the Fonds Jeune Création francophone CNC/SACD, the pitching sessions of the Festival de la Fiction and the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
