Summary : What does it feel like to be unwanted? Olivier is the story of a child abandoned at birth who is shunted around from family to family. Meet the families who take him in, the homes and villages where he lives, the people he meets, and the schools he goes to. In the background is a page out of history from the 1960s to the 1980s: children in foundling hospitals, foster families, adoption, the influence of religion… and closely guarded family secrets.
